Win a Presto and send e-mail and photos to people who don’t have a computer
Many of us have parents, or, other family members we’d love to send e-mail to, but there’s one small problem: they don’t have a computer, or, Internet access.
Presto is a service that delivers emails, photos and other content to people who don’t use a computer. So you can send emails and photos to Grandma and they just automatically print out on her HP Presto printer.
It plugs into a standard phone line and delivers received e-mails, photos, etc. in pre-formatted templates, such as seasonal themes, to the recipient, and, it limits e-mails to recipients from known addressees, so there’s no spam.
The messages are automatically set to print up to 5 times per day (you set the schedule) through an existing phone line. Don’t worry it can share a line, and, calls won’t be interrupted.
The Presto user can receive unlimited emails, photos and content from anyone who has the recipient’s “presto.com” email address. Presto even transforms plain emails with a beautiful, colorful design.
I have one for review, and, it’s really easy to set up. You plug in the power (make sure mom and dad’s has a three pronged outlet near the phone jack), the telephone line, add paper & the ink cartridge and you’re good to go. The only maintenance for the end-user is adding paper and changing the ink cartridge. Presto even notifies the user when it is time to do that!
The printer, available for $149.99, can be ordered at the Presto web site. The e-mail service costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually.
But, to one of you, dear readers, the Presto, and, 3 months of service is free.
That’s right, win a Presto right here on GenBetween, and, Grandma and Grampa won’t need a computer or internet service to receive your emails and digital photos.
PRESTO PRINTER CONTEST!

For a chance to win a free Presto (with 3 months of service):
1. Send an email to brook.lenox@presto.com with the subject line “Busy Mom giveaway,” and include in the body of the email your full name and U.S. address.
2. Link to this contest on your blog in case any of your readers have friends or family that might benefit from this service. And please also link to Presto to show our appreciation of their support.
If you are not a blogger, no worries, you obviously can’t link. But, it would be great if you’d tell your friends about the contest, perhaps someone has a friend or relative who’d like to win a Presto.
3. Note: the Presto service is only available to US phone numbers, so this contest is limited to those of you who would be giving the Presto HP Printing Mailbox and Presto subscription to a US resident with a US phone number. For example, if you are Canadian, but Grandma lives in Florida, it’s fine to enter (as long as we are shipping the product to the US address.)
Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries submitted by midnight CST on September 16, 2007.
