The Comfort of Home by Maria M. Meyer and Paula Derr covers many aspects of being a caregiver and caring for an elderly or disabled person, from determining if care giving is right for you and your loved one, to end of life issues.

There’s also information on caregiver burnout as well as self care and where to locate resources to assist with care.

The Comfort of Home has earned a reputation as a “bible” for caregivers, and, there will be editions for specific situations such as Alzheimer’s and Multiple Sclerosis coming out soon.
