Just trying to get things wrapped up with my uncle’s death.
I have figured out I’m in the wrong business. I shall leave health care, and, go into the obituary business, as I filed one yesterday in our local paper to the tune of $551.00.
My father is doing quite well considering he’s lost his wife, his step-mother, and, his brother in the span of nine months. While I’m sure it’s never easy, it leads me to believe that perhaps when you get to a certain age where you perhaps expect it, or, at least you are more comfortable with the fact that death happens to everyone.
The only thing keeping us from wrapping this up, is, well, my uncle.
He is being cremated, and, the remains will be shipped here for interment in the cemetery. We thought that the crematory would deal with the cemetery directly.
Boy, were we wrong.
My uncle is being shipped to my dad’s house via the U.S. Postal Service, we don’t know when to expect him. Just so you know, FedEx and UPS don’t ship human remains.
I aim to educate.
