Retirement Calculator
One would think that as much as I write and live the aging parents thing, that I would know more about retirement issues than I do.
Sure, I know that it’s important to plan and we are able to throw a little money at the issue, but, I don’t really think about it in concrete terms, and, I don’t want to be the person who is shocked when the time comes around.
So, to help with planning and setting goals, check out the RetirAbility Check from Nationwide Insurance. It’s a creative, interactive online tool that allows people to gauge their retirement readiness by caculating their Retirement (R) scores. A R-Score is a number from 1 to 100 that predicts what percentage of their ideal income they will have at age 65.
It even gives specific advice how to achieve an ideal R-score. It’s kind of cute, go give it a try!
