My parent’s wedding anniversary
Today was my parents wedding anniversary.
I called my dad to see what he was up to today, and, he had several things to do. He sounded really upbeat, so, I didn’t say anything.
Sounds weird, I know, but, I think saying nothing was the right thing. I’ll see him again in the morning, so, there may be another chance to bring it up.
This was also the last “landmark day” of the first year since her death. The next significant date coming up is the first anniversary of her death on July 20th.
Weird. It seems like a year, a day, and, a decade ago, all at the same time.
