Minding Our Elders:Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories - Read it
I know I’ve said it before, but, if you can relate to any of what I have told you over the past few months about caring for or the death of elderly parents, you need to read Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories.
I’m in the middle of it, and, well, you just do. It’s an easy read, and, Carol Bradley Bursack artfully draws out stories from people just like you or me. Like she says, it’s a “portable support group”.
Thank you for writing this, Carol.

Thanks for the tip - I will check it out. It may be exactly what my MIL needs.

Thanks for the compliments, Elizabeth. Your email reminded me why I do what I do. If MOE helps anyone get through all of the stuff of caregiving - the guilt, frustration, isolation, sibling rivalry, and of course love and grief - then it has served its purpose. You’ve got a really good blog, here, and I’ve become a regular visitor. Take care,
Carol
