NPR has a series from the Mocha Moms about elder care with Dr. Marion Somers, author of Elder Care Made Easier.
Among other topics, they discuss when there are sibling disagreements when caring for elderly parents, caring for parents from a long distance, and, nursing homes. Dr. Somers also brings up a great point about asking the elder person what they want vs. their competency.
They cover several topics, it’s worth a listen.
